At HAIR Lauren is a one women show and behind the chair all day. In order to provide a top quality experience for each client she does not take bookings during the day. Please leave an appointment request via voicemail, text message or email and Lauren will respond at her earliest free moment or by the end of the day. Lauren recommends each client prebook her appointments at the end of each service in order to guarantee the appointment time you want and free up booking requests during the day.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow for parking, elevator/stairs, settling in to the studio. At HAIR we schedule tightly and your appointment time does not include any of the above. In order to provide the best service for all clients punctuality is important. If you will be late please let us know as soon as possible. HAIR reserves the right to adjust or reschedule your appointment if you arrive more than 15 minutes late.
All bookings are confirmed via email and text. Please allow 24 hours notice for all cancellations and changes to appointments. Multiple cancellations outside of the 24 hour window or ‘No Shows’ , may result in you being asked to leave a credit card for booking. If you should cancel or no show after leaving a credit card for booking you will be charged for your full appointment.
At HAIR we are committed to accommodating all clients booking needs, including those who may be on a wait list for an appointment. If we are given proper cancellation it allows us to fill your appointment time with another client who wants to get in.
We understand that sometimes things happen, and no one means to miss their appointment. So digression is always used in these instances.
Please advise that the salon is not an appropriate place for children. Appointments are typically lengthy and space is limited so unless your child is having a service done please plan coverage so that we can provide a relaxing and efficient environment for you and any other guests of the salon.
If you must bring your child to an appointment please contact Lauren the day before so she can plan and come prepared with something to keep him/her occupied during your appointment time.
** Please keep this in mind if you are considering bringing a friend or family member with you to your appointment. Lauren prefers you arrive alone in order for her to provide the best service and keep to a timely schedule.
HAIR accepts all major credit cards, cash and checks.
Gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. HAIR can and will accept gratuity in all payment forms as well.
HAIR reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any appointments due to inclement weather.
Please follow HAIR on all social media sites for up to date weather cancellations. If the weather is so bad that we need to reschedule your appointment you will be contacted as soon as possible and given a new appointment as close to your original time/date as can be managed.
Adjustments Post Service:
Lauren provides a lengthy and thorough consultation with every client prior to all chemical, cutting and styling appointments. Some of which begin weeks before the appointment via text, phone call or email conversations, in order to guarantee that each client receives the amazing hair that they are dreaming of! After each appointment Lauren allows time for styling tips and tricks, discussing at home care to maintain your salon service and gives you a walk through of your finished product. If after you leave you decide you want to add to your cut or color service contact Lauren as soon as possible to book another appointment. **There are no complimentary services post appointment for adjustments. If there is a legitimate need to correct something that may have went wrong during your service and wasn't noticeable until you got home, Lauren will make time for a complimentary correction within the same week of your appointment. No corrections will be booked after the week of your service has passed.
Lauren reserves the right to use her discretion with all post service requests in order to determine future booking needs.
